Wallsend FC 2019 AGM

Wallsend FC inviting all members and life members to attend our 2019 AGM on Monday the 4th of November 2019, 6pm at Wallsend Diggers function room 2.

This meeting is to fill the following director positions-

Director of Women’s Football.

Director of Junior Football.

Nominations need to be returned by the 30th of September 2019 to the email address agm@wallsendfc.com.au

Nominations will be voted on at the Special GM.

NL1 2020 Trials

2020 NL1 Trial registrations.

Preparations for season 2020 are now starting to build and we are taking registrations for players wanting to be part of our NL1 teams Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s and Under 18’s.

Trial are held at Cook Park, MacArthur Street, Birmingham Gardens on the following dates-

Wallsend FC WPL are building for season 2020 Season and we are now taking registrations for existing and new players wanting to be part of our WPL squads.

Please register if you are a player that is looking to improve their game further in a modern football environment with a club development plan in place and Advanced licensed coaches to support you.

Preparations for season 2019 are now starting to build and we are taking registrations for players wanting to be part of our SAP teams Under 9’s and Under 10’s. Girls are welcome to come along and join our trials.

Trial are held at ‘The Gardens’ sporting complex, Birmingham Gardens on the following dates-

Preparations for season 2019 are now starting to build and we are taking applications for Head Coaches for our Boys SAP teams Under 9’s and Under 10’s.

We envisage holding trials in these age group in early October 2018 to identify talented players and get them into the Wallsend FC environment where we are producing quality players for our senior NL1 Youth teams.

Wallsend FC TAFE NSW Summer Football is back for another year…

Spring is approaching, which means it’s time to look towards our off-season engagements. Wallsend FC would like to welcome you all back to The Gardens for Season Nine of Wallsend F.C. TAFE NSW Summer Football, kicking off October 3rd 2018. The competition has hosted over 100 teams in previous seasons, and we expect it to be another big one.

If you are looking to compete in this year’s competition, the following details will be of interest to you and we have a couple of changes to make things easier for you on game day:

KICK-OFF: October 3rd, 2018.
SEASON END: January 31st, 2019.
DURATION: 14 weeks + 2 weeks for Finals Series.
DAYS PLAYED: Wednesday and Thursday.
GRADES: Mixed, Women’s, Men’s, Junior 10/11’s, 12/13’s, 14/15’s.

MATCH FEES: $60 per Senior team, $40 for Junior team.
REGISTRATION FEES: $60 Registered Senior, $90 Unregistered Senior. $30 Registered Junior, $40 Unregistered Junior.
REGISTRATIONS CLOSE: September 14th, 2018.
PRIZE-MONEY: $750 Winners, $250 Runners Up. Trophies and medallions for Juniors.

CHANGES: This season we are implementing a change after listening to you (our players) and making game day a less of a hassle for you. This season we will be collecting the fees for the season prior to round 1, for senior teams the cost will be $840 ($60 a round for 14 rounds). For junior teams the cost will be $560 ($40 a round for 14 rounds). This means on game day you will only have to sign in and be right to play. Information on how to pay your fees will be forwarded to the team captain once a completed registration form is received. We will also have new volunteers running match days.

Our costs and prize-money for this season remain the same as last season. However, please make note of the following discounts available to teams for this season. These discounts are aimed at rewarding our loyal teams for sticking with the competition, and for being prompt and organised with registration and payment. They are described in full below:

EARLYBIRD DISCOUNT: All teams are eligible for this discount, provided that their registration form is entered, all team players have registered on MyFootballClub, and all team fees are paid before September 5th. Your first match will be for free ($60). This is to encourage teams to get organised early, thus making the first night of the competition all about football.

LOYALTY DISCOUNT: This discount entitles any team registered in the 2016-17 season, and that rejoins us for the 2017-18 season, their first game for half-price ($30). It’s our way of sharing an appreciation for your continued support. This is on top of any Earlybird discount claimed. Please inform me while sending in your registration form that you are collecting this discount.

Remember, all you need to do to reserve your team a place in the competition is to send a completed registration form to sixaside@wallsendfc.com.au. The registration form is at the bottom of this page. Once receiving your registration form, you will receive more information on how to complete your team registration via MyFootballClub, and how to pay your team fees.
