Walk 4 Brain Cancer 2017

You are welcome to come for a fun filled morning of entertainment and walk around the grass at Newcastle Greyhounds to raise awareness and funds for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Wallsend FC support the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Below is a note from Sarah Gallagher.

My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor a year and one month after we got married. He endured endless surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatment over his 5 year battle. The most important surgery was the one performed by Dr Teo. Dr Teo was giving my husband the chance to see his daughter be born. Without this surgery my husband would not have had that chance and spend 8 weeks with her creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Whether you are walking in memory of a loved one, supporting your family or friends, or just feel passionate to help make a difference to the survival rate for people living with brain cancer we would love to see you.

Gather your family and friends together to enjoy a fun filled morning of entertainment and walk around the grass at Newcastle Greyhounds to raise awareness and funds for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. Why not bring a gazebo and make a day of it. The walk is accessible for all, it is on grass but prams and wheelchairs are able to be pushed.

There will be lots to do including a warm up with the beautiful Ebonnie, a jumping castle and swings, face painting and balloon animals for the kids, a BBQ to purchase food and refreshments, a coffee van, DJ DVS, and a raffle.
